Who we are
OTTAVÉ (“we,” “us”) makes the Contrast Ritual, a warming balm and cooling gel for spas, hotels and fitness centers. OTTAVÉ is a sole proprietorship based in Boston, Massachusetts. This policy covers ottaveritual.com (the “Site”) and the emails we exchange with you.
What we collect
When you request samples, we collect what you type into the form: your name, email address, property name and any message you include. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you send.
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically receives basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels or any other tracking on the Site, and our fonts are served from our own Site rather than a third party. Because we do not track visitors, we do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals; there is nothing for them to switch off.
How we use it
We use your information only to reply to you, arrange samples, follow up about a possible order and keep a record of our conversation. We do not send marketing newsletters, and we never sell or rent your information.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that make the Site and our email work, and only as needed for them to do that job:
- Web3Forms delivers sample request form submissions to our inbox.
- Firebase Hosting (Google) serves the Site.
- Our email providers receive and send our email.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we are in conversation or doing business with you, and for any period the law requires after that. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Email us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to confirm it is really you before acting on a request.
Visitors outside the United States
We are based in the United States, and the information you share with us is processed in the United States. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct or delete your information and to object to how we use it. You can exercise any of these rights by emailing us at the address below.
Security
The Site is served only over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we limit access to your information to the people who need it. No method of sending or storing data is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
Children
The Site is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we update this policy, we will change the date at the top of this page.
